AC PAOK - Greece

The Handball Club PAOK is the handball section of AC PAOK, the major multi-sports club based in Thessaloniki. PAOK has both men's and women's team. So far, PAOK men's team has won 3 championships and 3 cups and PAOK women's team has won 1 championship and 1 cup. In the current season, PAOK men's team finished in the 5th place of the championship, but they won the Cup. PAOK Handball Club was founded in 1999 after it merged with the another club Meas Triton. The boys' academies started in 2004 with a coach Mr. Bizeta Giannis and now it has 90 active athletes from 10 to 18 years old. The group born in 2002 which will take part in the “New Belgrade Summer Cup 2017” tournament, won the following trophies:
  • 2014: 2nd place in Greek championship (Edessa)
  • 2015: 1st place in Greek championship (Patra)
  • 2016: 3rd place in Greek championship (Argos)
